WHEN HUMANS GO TO MARS

What Will Be Africa's Contribution?

Our History, Science, and Mathematics, as well as our diverse Societal Values, Cultural Wisdom and Knowledge Heritage, is what we can regroup under the term Africology. Africology is the most valuable differentiating factor we have in the competitive global economic and technological landscape we live in.

The key concepts of Africology are identified through research and analysis and study of African History, Science, Mathematics as well as Africa’s Societal Values, Cultural Wisdom and Knowledge Heritage.

The Four Steps Of Africology

IDEA

Identifying valuable data and information through research and studies of African History, Science, Mathematics as well as the thorough analysis of Societal Values, Cultural Wisdom and Knowledge Heritage.

HYPOTHESIS

Suppositions based on proposed explanations, concepts, data and information, there is limited evidence to back these claims, but are promising enough to be considered as starting point for further investigation and research.

RESEARCH

With the information gathered during the previous phases, we test and validate claims by experiment and observation, confirm historical data trough evidence and references. The result of this research is structured and compiled in a way that it can be easily implemented in different fields and sectors.

APPLICATION

With Applied Africology we explore the given problem within its African context and may re-interpret or restructure it in order to suggest a relevant path to a solution. We use Africology research to design products and services that serve Africa. We have already developed multiple applications trough Applied Africology.

We aim to create a continental and pan African School of thought where African History, Values, and Cultures are at the center but never in the way of Science Facts and Science Research.
The goal of this cross-disciplinary conversation is to enable Africa to play a central role in the Forth Industrial Revolution by promoting knowledge and spear a wave of technological ideas.

Applied Africology

Applied Africology refers to the cognitive, strategic and practical processes by which African knowledge and skills are considerated, evaluated and applied to a growing number of contexts in Africa and beyond.

Applied Africology has the potential to have a particularly strong impact on education, environment, society and overall the development of Africa within a political, economical and social context.

The key concepts of Applied Africology have been identified through scientific research and studies of African History, Science, Mathematics as well as the thorough analysis of Societal Values, Cultural Wisdom and Knowledge Heritage.

Rather than trying to solve a problem as it would be in a different context, in Applied Africology we explore the given problem within its African context and may re-interpret or restructure it in order to suggest a relevant path to a solution.
