Applied Africology
Applied Africology refers to the cognitive, strategic and practical processes by which African knowledge and skills are considerated, evaluated and applied to a growing number of contexts in Africa and beyond.
Applied Africology has the potential to have a particularly strong impact on education, environment, society and overall the development of Africa within a political, economical and social context.
The key concepts of Applied Africology have been identified through scientific research and studies of African History, Science, Mathematics as well as the thorough analysis of Societal Values, Cultural Wisdom and Knowledge Heritage.
Rather than trying to solve a problem as it would be in a different context, in Applied Africology we explore the given problem within its African context and may re-interpret or restructure it in order to suggest a relevant path to a solution.
